There is more than one way to go bankrupt. Hence the answer is specific to your case and what was agreed by the court.

A somewhat simple way to tell is to check the title of the property. If there are liens on the property from judgments then expect those will get paid out when you sell. There could be mistakes so not everything that is showing up will be accurate. You will have to check the details.

If you have the BK documents read them and see what was agreed or settled.

If you went bankrupt (chapter 7) then any debt that was discharged is no longer owed by you to the debtors. If you did chapter 13 and did not pay off the required amount of debt than you may want to check with your county recorder to make sure that no liens have been filed against your property. As long as there are no liens on your home and you don't owe the mortgage company then no one can stake a claim on the proceeds. I hope that every thing works out for you.

The fact that your home wasn't seized leads me to believe that you excluded it from the bankruptcy, in which case you are not relieved of any debt. The lender still holds the lien and will not release it for sale until the note is satisfied.

I'm making presumptions here, as are the rest of the armchair lawyers posting here. Disregard all of these answers, including mine, and see your attorney.
