that is a huge generalisation. a sweeping statement. games like rugby, basketball, water polo, maybe even soccer and handball involve some violence as there is physical contact with the opponents. other sports like professional wrestling and boxing are obviously violent due to the nature of the sport. but there are sports like figure skating, gymnastics, diving, swimming, athletics. unless you consider the ways competitors might injure themselves while doing their sport, then these sports are definitely non-violent.

SPorts can be violent. i dont think we have seen the savagery that sport is capable of. MSG Brawl, Ron Artest...nothing.

life is violent. sports is a way for average folks to make money off of violence.
