I love to listen to all types of music, and am making a mix cd of songs that I like for my workout regimen. What do you suggest? Thanks!
PS I am looking for " get up and go" songs!

I have a playlist of "fast" songs to use while on the elliptical trainer or while walking because just listening to them helps me quicken my pace! Check these out:

Silverchair: Stoned (a little slower but good to start)

Bush: Machinehead

Avril Lavigne: Sk8r Boi

Staind: Mudshovel

Britney Spears: Toxic

When you are in the middle of the regimen and really want to sweat hard, just have "Bullets" from Creed in the background. It's kinda extremely hard, but works for me.

Nothing beats Olivia Newton John's "Let's Get Physical" to pump up that adrenaline.

Even if I'm not in the gym or not in the work-out mode, I would bop my head or tap my feet everytime I hear the song.

I listen to anything that has a good fast beat to it that makes me want to move my feet and walk, dance, work out, etc.

The whole C.D. of Aqua is good to work out to, they have lots of fast paced songs that make you want to move your body such as Barbie Girl, Candyman, Roses Are Red. (look up their cd, it's pretty good)

Disco music has a pretty good beat to it
Ring My Bell
I Will Survive
It's Raining Men
Knock On Wood

Good Luck and Have fun working out
