ALT+0241 (ñ) or ALT+0209 (Ñ). You must hold down the ALT key while typing in the numbers, then release the ALT key, and voila!

just like to point out that when using the ALT method you need to use the numbers on the numeric keypad.
if you have laptop with no separate numeric keyboard things can get quite fraught. broadly speaking in addition to holding down the ALT key you will probably also need to hold down the Fn key as well and also hit the Numlock key before you start and again after you finish. so, the full sequence ends up something like NumLk, FN+ALT +M, FN+ALT+K, FN+ALT+U, FN+ALT+9, NumLk
horrors!
probably easier to copy and paste from character map or something or use insert special symbol!!

n is spelled "en." But if you mean how you can get a little accent mark over a letter, for example, ñ, then go to www.freetranslation.com & copy/paste it. Hope this helps.
