If the virus infected smss.exe and lsas.exe as well, then this is the virus that was attacked my computer too. I fight this virus manually, with help of hijackthis, and some script. I forgot where website which have the script (something like a .bat file, and an .inf file). Maybe I must search for "w32.brontok" in ggogle

The online virus scanners.. ( you can get the HiJackThis thing, and then make a post of what it finds, Someone will help you)..
Awasome free site for help.. ( if your not sure, As the HiJackThis sounds fishy, just read some of the posts about it, Its perfectly safe)... I have used it many times, Just make sure you dont delete anything it finds untill your told to do so.. This program finds both the good things and the bad things,)... One of the best tools on the net...

Do a full system scan again... and if that does not work try to see the log your anti virus makes and search yourself for the Trojan...

I was a victim of this virus twice!!, it will infect all of exe files in your computer, if you ask me what i did, i reformatted all of my drives then reinstalled a new windows :-(, (next time make sure you have a anti virus or internet security programs installed)

There is a free antivirus that is good. Avira Antivir Classic.
The svchost.exe is a file that is used by your network connection. I don't know if you can disinfect it.
If that doesn't work, you have to format c drive and re-install windows.

if you still have the windows cd put it in your drive
and turn your comp. on safe mode and manually delete all svchost.dll's and when you reboot your comp. cd should install the dll's that are needed to run explorer

well, u can try and download Kaspersky Antivirus from www.download.com
i had like 16 trojans once, so i installed it and it worked like magic
