I have the perception that I do. Everytime I'm drunk, I can smell Denny's buffalo chicken strips from 10 miles away. Literally -- there's not a Denny's around for 10 miles. I think it's because I crave them when I'm drunk, so I eat them, so I associate the taste of alcohol with the taste of Denny's buffalo chicken strips.
Denny's, I should get paid for this answer.

my intuitive side kicks in big time. I end up knowing peoples B-day, and can describe their houses (tht they grew up in as children) - little wierd things like that..... But then again, my teeth and my crotch also go numb when I'm drinking - so maybe thats the price I get to pay for using my intuitions....... a ha ha

its not that our senses are heightened, its just that they aren't being filtered as they normally are when you are fully conscious. when you drink you tend to get more of the sensory you would regular label as unimportant and not pay any attention to.
