Is it windy in Salt Lake City?

Okay, I know it seems like a stupid question. Obviously there is some wind there (which can be expected). But the reason I ask is that I am moving there soon and being from Wyoming (where the wind is out of control) I was curious as to whether or not it compares to our state.

Right now, the winds are calm. Blowing around 12 mph but it is really cold

Yes, it's windy in Salt Lake City, because Wyoming sucks!
Seriously, it's not overly windy in the Salt Lake Valley.

The reason why it is windy in Wyoming is because Utah blows and Nebraska sucks
