Actually it isn't good. All the "tars" in the smoke get blown through the computer body by the fan, and will coat everything inside with a thin coat of brown yuccch. It can gum up the works by letting dust stick to it, more so than in non-smoking computers (that even seemed silly while I was typing it - non-smoking computers?)
I fix computers all day long and you can always tell the smokers (and what they smoke) and the ladies who wear way too much perfume.

No. All that hype about lung cancer doesn't apply to computers. Over time, the tar from the smoke could gum-up the motor for the fan, which is needed to cool the processor.

I do not know if it has any effect on the Laptop, but being positive, If it spoils it than you may get yourself a new one. Ha Ha

lol. I try to exhale smoke away from my computer just like it is a person. It gets enough dust already.

It won't hurt the computer -- everything is sealed that needs to be sealed. As for your lungs, that's another matter.
