I have friend who is the part of our group, he always has problem with me and puts wrong blameson me?

he says that i say bad about our group(especially about him) to everyone, but actually i dont say such things,
what should i do,should i tell him that i dont say such things or tell plz

You need to confront him in front of your group. Call him out on his lies and make sure you stress that he's lying. If you do that when all your friends are around, he will get embarassed & flustered. Liars work on the idea that whoever they're lying about won't confront them because then they'll just deny it. If you confront him alone, he will deny it and probably get angry and spread more rumors. If you do it around your friends, he won't have alot to say because it will totally catch him off guard. Ask him to tell you exactly what you supposedly said and to whom. If he names someone else, ask that person as well.

If you start trying to prove that he's lying, even if he denies it, your friends will see that there's a reason why you're trying to get the truth out and will really start to question what this guy is saying. This guy can't keep lying if no one will even listen to him and then hopefully, he'll just give up.

Yes. Why not ?. If you are not doing anything which he is blaming you, it is your moral obligation to clarify your position. Also say that he should not make such baseless accusations on me.
