it is called gambler's psychology. when loosing, the gambler increases his betting amount. he is not only acting against Iraq study group but also against the opinions of all peace loving people in all the countries who raised their voices against war with Iraq.

You have to remember that Bush has had a plan for a while. Other Republicans and Democrats, are trying to work at something that will save their own party during the next several months. Since Bush can't run again, Republicans have to save the Rep. party and at the same time seem to support the present Administration. Democrats have to be careful because they have learned from the last election that this country still has an interest in morals, regardless of party. Their job will be to destroy the confidence of the American people in the republicans, while the republicans will fight to prove the need of the republican party but with a different approach to the Iraqi war. The war will take center stage. Not the stock market, not unemployment, not the economy. Center stage will be the war and the loss of American lives. Trust me.
