It is not a question of hating the US, it is more related with current policies. On 9/11 Australia was the first country to offer support to the US as our Prime Minister was in Washington. Since then Australia has served with the US in Afghanistan and Iraq and still does. Our two countries have the ANZUS Treaty in conjunction with New Zealand.
However, having said that many people in Australia do not like being involved with the wars in the Middle East and would like our troops withdrawn as they disagree with our government's policy as it is too closely linked to the US foreign policy.
The US is the country we would first call upon, however, this does not mean we must agree with everything thew US says & does.

Hate is a strong word. Unlike the zealots of this Earth who want to have every American exucuted mainly due to their own beliefs, I do not hate. I dislike some of the beliefs and attitudes that the US represents. When a country thumps it chest like a prehistoric caveman and pushes its laws onto another, when trying to uphold the freedom of speech, I cringe. We all talk about living together as one big happy family but do not try to make a difference. Don't get me wrong. I also would want the US right by my side when it comes to fighting terror, but with a gentle hand and not the HUGE stick it waves with little regard to the outcome. As a Canadian it seems they many fights the US has started have been cleaned up by my countrymen. It is time that the fights the US starts needs to find less rage and stay the course when they get into those conflicts
Part2 - Does the USA "hate" other countries? Some Americans do. They will openly call many of the muslim people, regardless of their true nature, something demeaning without a second thought. What I was trying to say in part one is that it is easier to be the big brother that everyone depends one and admires, instead of the school yard bully. The one that will take care of the many world problems without becoming the bully that the rest of the onlookers begin to fear because of its own path is blind with rage. I guess that some of my dislike also comes from the thinking that many Americans don't see themselves as equals to other world leaders. Many have the "I'm better than you" attitude and will never relent to call someone an equal. Pompous if you ask me. Can there be more than just the American way?

usa is a great country with its great people but the worst politics it followed all these years created all this havoc in the country.whether it is under the consideration of strategic reasons or political interest the political brokers has done too much harm to the entire image of the country doing blunders and mistakes.as a country dealing 60 percentage of worlds business and with the title of most powerful nation in the world, usa could have done a lot for sustaining democracy and peace and a happy living for the world population.but vested interests who guided the power points harmed everything and misguided the political psyche to wrong and negative directions.you must understand that world is spending 700 billion dollors in the support of war activities ,which can solve 90 percentage of the worlds problems on poverty ,education, shelter and medicine
while we are thinking about national threat and panicing about the worst , we are forgetting the history and the basic facters for creating such problems.
things might have started from the days when us starts giving support to mujahideen and political leaders of pakistan to fight against russia.the ultimate result was taliban and bin ladin.saddam was in the good book while iran iraq war happened and everybody knows how us supported saddam on those days.ultimatly they were the creations of wrong political stategies of US goverments. think about the US involvements in latin amarica where US supported dictaters and military regimes throughout the world.such wrong decisions to support the anti social/pepole governments under the concept of political strategies were ignoring the democratic realities and it was the basic reason for all this new developments.
i feel still there is time for us to reinstate its great stand for democracy and peace and we have to understand world is changed much and the double standerds and mass media manipulations wont help us to estabish such things. this is a great country of abraham lincon and thorou and the land of thousands of great scientists and thinkers.we have to show the magnitude of that culture which will keep amarica always alive and glitering in top world scenario.

I love the USA, and I have some criticisms about things in our country. Don't you have some criticisms? I suspect you must of had a family growing up, right? Well, aren't there a few things that piss you off about your family? It's okay to be angry with things in your own country.
And I tell you right now, if anyone, I mean anyone attacks us, I'l be going right back into the guard and hope to kick some serious a -hole!

I love America, I love my rights and I love my freedom that our troops all around the world are fighting to protect.
If ANY country was to come under attack, they would beg to have us on their sides...
And by the way, to you people who keep making comments about the U.S. attacking your countries... We did not attack a country, we attacked a tyrant, and we are risking our lives to protect democracy worldwide. Now that that tyrant is no longer a problem we are fighting to establish democracy in Iraq... despite the Iraqis constant attack on our troops. If you pay attention, our actions are being refered to as "Operation Iraqi Freedom" not "Operation Attack Iraq". Also, our war is not a war against a people, our war is against Terrorism. I think that for every day that your countries are NOT attacked... you should take a moment and THANK us for continuing to remove terrorist cells across the world... Instead of dwelling on bitterness towards us.
And another thing, if we would have sat back and done nothing and the Iraqis had continued to suffer under Sadam Hussein, and if we would have stayed home and let Al Qaida attack another nation... you all would critisize and hate us just the same; So come off of it.
Im not saying we are perfect, or that our actions couldn't have been handled differently... but we are fighting our as$es off for the good of all mankind, regardless of how ungrateful you all appear to be.
That is all I have to say.

Know one really hates the USA just the ignorant administration. They know theres smart and nice people here. Just most people in our country are not the brightest bunch. And I can't blame other people for disrespecting us. Of course they would ask for our help but they don’t want wars and will not start them. And if they do they just want go start bombing a country on a hunch.
I love America just not the people living in it haha.
I love free speech and the constitution just not the people that interpret it.

They would want U.S. (us). Everyone hates us until they need us. Dirtbags............As you can see, people claim that the "like" us but they don't realize that when they attack our leaders, they are attacking all of "us".
People do not have to like our President, now matter how great he is, they just have to respect him. Why?, because HE says so !
