...and I don't think that any of you are evil. I don't hate any of you, and I do not judge you. (This is in response to the person who posted about Christians and their posts on here). Christians who come in here and insult you and tell you you are going to burn in hell (or whatever else it is they say about you) are poor examples of Christians, and I apologize for them. It is the Christian belief that homosexuality is wrong, but that does not give people the right to be hateful and obnoxious to you. Please know that that is not the kind of Christianity that God expects from us...it is wrong. I love you just the way you are!

To Arrrrggggh!!,

I have no idea whether people are "born gay" or not. I do not condemn anyone, because it is not my place. All I have the right to do is love, and so I take advantage of that right.

Thanks a lot for trying to mend a lot of anger, frustration, and hurt feelings generating from Christians constantly reminding us that we are total outcasts and not worthy of even living on this planet. That is why GLBT suicide rate is so high, it brings a tear to my eye to even think about it. Especially for teenagers, where trying to fit into the mold is an important part of their everyday life.

However, I do say "try", because I don't think that most Christians will ever even attempt to understand something that the bible "supposedly" doesn't condone. This issue is still debatable, and like the entire bible is open for interpretation depending on the person reading it.

So, therefore I don't think the GLBT community will feel safer from your kind words alone. It will take a lot of Christians changing their way of thinking before we will feel comfortable being around them.

Yea, but I think the debate is about the fact that people are(seem to be) born gay. And no matter how hard people try gay people will not go away. There always will be gay people. So do you accept them for who they are? or do you condemn their LIFE to be immoral even though they may do many good things. Do you condemn others for just single sin?

For the record, it's not the universal "christian belief"; it's what some christian churches teach. There are many christian churches that hold very different views.

Yes, I believe that for the most part, people here know that most Christians are not like the ones that post here. It is the ones like that, though, that make the most noise. Thanks for giving your respectful and Christlike opinion!

As an ex-Christian, I can simply say that being gay is part of my being; and anyone who hates THAT or hates my 'homosexual actions'; hates me as well.

If I say I love you but I hate what you do for Christ, would you really accept my love?

Thanks, but your love, like all Christians is conditional. Keep it.

Thanks, I wish you could teach other Christians to be more Christ like. I have found that many Christians commit more verbal hate crimes than the general public.

In my opinion, one post like this makes up for a whole lot of nasty ones.

Thank you for extending the hand of peace. May your Lord God bless you always.

That's nice. But you need to phrase it in a question.
