I wore UGG boots like two winters ago and even then, I think it was already going out of style. At least I can proudly say that I never wore them with a mini-skirt, but with jeans, a cute jacket and colorful scarf, so it still made sense. If you insist on wearing boots with a skirt though, try some flat heeled slouchy boots, those are more up to date and are much more flattering.

Why would you wear snow boots with a mini skirt anyway? Not practical in any way. I love fashion, but I have never understood why that became popular. To answer your question...I am seeing fewer women wearing this combo, so I finally think it is dying out. Thank God! Wear something that goes with a mini skirt, such as some cute flats or heels. As for the Uggs, just don't wear them.

if it is cold enough for you to be wearing ugg fuzzy sheepskin boots, then it is too cold for a mini skirt. Sorry, these were bad style in the 1990s when they first came out and they are still ugly on the second go around.

As many have already said, uggs and mini skirts are a little middle school. If you still want to wear a mini, especially in February, you might want to try one of these tips to update your look.
-Try regular or footless opaque tights, not leggings.
-Depending on your build, its generally best to shy away from busy patterns, like lace prints or polka dots.
-Horizontal stripes will lengthen your legs.
-An update from basic black is grey, brown or even olive green.
-If you still want boots, try flat leather riding boots. They're still casual and comfortable, but they'll update your look and with many different styles to choose from, can truly define your look.
-To dress it up, try ballerina flats or kitten heels. A fun print, like cheeta or a different texture like velvet, also makes for a change.
-Stay away from big heels. Thats a lot of leg for the winter months.

I still see 10 year olds wearing the uggs with the mini skirts. I guess if your 10 yrs. old then mini skirts with uggs are still in.

i dont know if theyre "out of style" but i personaly just hate them. mini skirts are fine (on some people) and uggs are ok (for cold weather). i hate when people mix things like that. theyll wear uggs to keep theyre feet warm like its below zero but then go struttin around in a mini skirt. it doesnt make sense. u dont look cute when u look rediculous.
...but thats just my opinion...

It seems to work on some women, in a cute kinda way. But leather type boots definitely look better.
