In about the late 80's early 90's, there was a kids tv show that my sisters and I used to watch, we can't remember the name of it. If any can help me out I would appreciate it. In the show they were on a farm, and there were little puppet animals. and one of the puppets would sing a song that went like this: " I love somebody, but I won't tell who, won't tell who, won't tell who.......Its you!" I think at the beginning it had a rainbow (I know its not reading rainbow, so don't say that one please :) ) I hope someone knows it, it has been bugging me for years!

Lambchops - Shari Lewis?
Maybe, H R Puffnstuff?
Fraggle Rock
In what major city did the show air?
Here are some links -

Maybe these -
"Jakers" Three barnyard animals - eight-year-old pig Piggley Winks and his best friends, Dannan the Duck and Ferny the Bull - as they grow up on a farm in rural Ireland. The animated segments are then followed by live-action sequences in which real children implement the life lessons being taught throughout the show.
"Zoom"
"It's a Big, Big World"

Maybe you could contact this guy somehow and he could tell you:

Scroll down to the 900s where the years are late 80s and see if any of the shows from PBS ring a bell.. Otherwise I don't know if I remember the show. Is there anything else to go by?

*update*

If it was lambchops.. do you remember the song "this is the song that never ends, it goes on and on my friends, some people started singing it not knowing what it was, and they'll continue singing it forever, this is the song that never ends..." and it just goes on forever. Is that really it?

Hmmmm 80's show with puppets......is it possible that it could be "Pinwheel"? They used to have many puppets singing cheesy, catchy songs on Pinwheel. It ran from 1979-1989. I still remember the song about the Brother and sister puppets named "Plus & Minus"
Check this out to be sure:

If not search through http://www.retrojunk.com You can search decade for TV shows, commercials, games and all sorts of stuff. With the TV shows you can watch all sorts of show intros, clips and pictures as well as episode summaries.

Good luck!

I was thinking of the show Piggly winks too that airs on QUBO. The grandpa is a big part of the show where he's living with his daughter and 3 grandkids. The kids will come to him with a scenario and he answers them in answers that date back to his own childhood.
