I walk down the block, wearing impossibly high stiletto heels, and a skirt SO short I wouldn't have been caught dead in it in the '80's! I have on an old wig I bought for $5 at the Goodwill, and I'm wearing a faux fur PINK coat. I look like HELL in this outfit, but men KEEP stopping me and offering to PAY me money to drive around NYC with them! What's up with that? Someone told me that what I do to earn my rent money IS the oldest profession. What, the oldest profession is dressing BADLY? Bonus!!!

Prostitution is said to be the oldest profession.
But the people ever since have always had doctors so I would say doctors were their before the prostitutes.
Even caveman used herbs and other things to hel him feel better and gave the same to his group mates when needed but I dont remember reading the females using their bodies to get any kind of benefits

The only line is prostitution - but I think hunting may edge that out in reality. After all if a woman is going to prostitute herself to a guy - he has to have something she wants - how did he get it - 9 chances in 10 back in the ancient days he would have had to hunt for it.

Stoneage men, hunted with sharpened rocks, most of these weapons and tools are seen in the cairo museum in egypt, and archaeologists date them to 6.000.000 years ago.
