Brett has been great. He has peaked and it will be level or downhill from now on out. Brett does not know to retire while things are still good, he will keep playing in the legend in his mind and embarass himself on the way out. The coming season will not be better for the Packers. They need to think about drafting a future replacement.

I think the Packers will be improved over last year. The one thing Green Bay had better do to help their prospects out is to draft the offensive players needed to score once they get into the red zone. I think Green Bay will select a TE because they have struggled the last two years at that position. A couple of WR's would not hurt and shore up on defense with the draft. Maybe get another RB due to Green's age to provide Brett another target and take pressure off him . Another thing that would help the Packers' success is to have Brett quit putting the team on his shoulders alone .That is why there are 11 men out there to do their own job.It might also cut down on his interceptions .

I think he can still play with the best of them! The team can plan for down the road by investing in the future and using Brett's wisdom of the game to train new receivers and his replacement QB. I hope when Brett decides to quit he says so at the start of the season so he can get the sendoff he deserves!

Favre WAS a superb QB. I like him. But he is being selfish - I would take the word "selfish" back if Favre is willing to sit on the bench. He is not the future. He's only delaying progress. The Packers are not going to make any noise in the playoff (if they can make the playoffs) in the next few years. Packers need to find out ASAP if Aaron Rodgers is the QB of the future. If not, get someone else other than a 35 year-old QB who just wants to get some NFL career records..

The defense will start practicing harder. Brett will be throwing a ton of interceptions, and they'll be spending alot of time on the field.

Farve should of hung it up a couple of seasons ago in my opinion, but if they want him back and feel he is theeir franchise player then so be it. Good luck to him and the Packers.

I think the pack' will be fine, provided of course that all the other teams in the NFL agree to force their pass rushers to use walkers when playing Green Bay :)

Unless he can block for himself and catch his own passes and run for touchdowns...the Packers will be the same as this year. The poor guy spent the year running for his life trying to throw to non-existent recievers.
