Well... I AM the mother and my 10yr old daughter has to clean her room. If she has to stay in there all day until it's clean than so be it.. she has to learn some responsibility and what better way than with her own things, in her own space....HAPPY CLEANING

You bet! She would rather not just tell you tidy up the place that you constantly sleep and breathe in; but one day she'd hope that you'll do it on your own instead or her always going after you telling you to do things. But also she would probably like for you to understand responsibility of taking care of simple things and making it a hobby to become more of a organized and tidy person than a sloppy "losing stuff all the time" child. It all starts from growing up at home.

Yes my mother always made me clean my room as a kid. A clean room was the basis of all my privledges. No clean room, no fun until it was done.

Yes, and I prefer it clean anyways... it bugs me and I love to step into a nice, clean room. And its not so bad if I turn on my stereo and bump some music and dance around during the process. Luv/Kodi

No my mother is really sweet, I never get a call from her to see if my room is clean. When she does call we get wrapped up in other family stuff.LOL

She shouldn't have to tell me, i keep it clean....and if it gets a little messed up....I'm not about to sit in a dirty room....SO No...She doesn't MAKE me. I Do it myself.

when I'm doing a revision or study, my desk tend to be very messy, that's when my mum barge in and nag me to clean it ;-)otherwise I'm a pretty clean-freak.
