I agree with you - it seems the difference between the number doubles each time - from 2 --> 4 --> 8 --> 16 so the next diff would be 32 making the answer 62

if 6 X 2 = 12 and + 2 = 14 then 14 X 2 = 28 and + 2 = 30 so 30 X 2 = 60 and + 2 = 62.

I agree with you.
2 + (2**2) = 6
6 + (2**3) = 14
14 + (2**4) = 30
30 + (2**5) = 62
or alternatively,
2**2 - 2 = 2
2**3 - 2 = 6
2**4 - 2 = 14
2**5 - 2 = 30
2**6 - 2 = 62

62 is correct
a(n)=a(n-1)+2^n
a(5)=a(4)+2^5
a(5)=30+32
a(5)=62
that means the 5th number is 62

Yes that is correct. What are you doing and online IQ test?
You should know those things are highly inaccurate and always score relatively high. My IQ score on the Mensa approved Stanford Binet 5 was 128, 2 points short of the Mensa required score on that test. When I take online IQ tests I always score into the low 140's or high 130's.
