OK, so maybe Barry suffers from narcissism and (one of my favorites) Barry-centric universe syndrome ( we all know a few people like that). I am sure that his family cares for him and probably even Bud Selig, or Bud would have either banned him or dispelled all rumors about him by now. Barry is publicity and as he inches closer and closer to the record, it will become even more of a news worthy event.

Are you certain Barry Bonds even likes Barry Bonds?

Barry is the only player in the history of the game to hit over 500 homeruns and steal over 500 bases. He has a bunch of Gold Gloves and 7 MVP awards. Obviously some other people like him besides him. This was a stupid question. If you think that Barry Bonds is the only one in baseball that has been "cheating" then you probably believe in the tooth fairy and think there are WMDs in Iraq.

Let me clear something up for everyone

Barry Bonds has not yet tested positive for steriods, so I don't see why everyone thinks he is on steroids

When he broke records in the 90s, steroids were LEGAL. Thats right, LEGAL. I don't know why people are making a big deal about McGuire either. When and if he took them, they were LEGAL.

Me personally...

I don't like Barry Bonds. Yes, I am defending him, but since he left the Pirates they have not had a winning season.

nicely i ought to positioned Juan Gonzalez on the roid purchasers list. He change into between the most sparkling circumstances of a participant using steroids. nicely Ken Caminiti (1996 MVP) change right into a steroid consumer yet he died from them so. i'm taken aback you dont have Mark McGwire on there. when you're gonna write off adult adult males like Bonds and Sosa who havent examined constructive for steroids (i imagine they did merely with assistance from their change in visual attraction and means), yet Mark McGwire might want to a minimum of be on the suspected purchasers. I recommend he change into all skinny even as he change into on the A's and then he were given beefed even as he went to the Cardinals.

I don't like him. Many fans except Giants fans don't like him as well. So, the answer would be Giants fans like Bonds other than Bonds.

I bet I know what Greg Anderson's answer will be! Read Katalex's answer. It pretty much sums it up. But I wouldn't call it "breaking the record" so much as passing Hank Aaron. In my book he will never break the home run record no matter how many he hits.

i know I don't but to answer ur question, it's the people who use him as a role model. Like the teens who almost kill themselves by ODing on steroids and other body enhancing drugs.
