I hated it and agree totally with you. I saw the point that the movie was trying to make, but it hit you over the head with it. I didn't believe the story. There are better, similar movies out there. Racism is such a buzzword right now. I'm tired of every third story on the news being about some sort of racism(real or implied or imagined). I liked the idea of the movie, but the execution wasn't all its cracked up to be. Thumbs down...I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

In reference to the one of the above statement, I live in a fairly large urban area and worked for about 4 years in the prison system. I've faced racial tension(and just general tension) in my life and on the job. The only thing this movie made me think is "What is the big deal about this movie?" I could say that for a hundred films, though, so Crash is not alone!

You must not live in a large city with a large, urban and minority popuation. It is NOT a movie for entertainments' sake. It is a thought-provoking movie. It's a THINKING movie. It's supposed to make you wake up, look at the world around you, and pay attention to how you deal with people and how the simplest things can be misconstrued as something negative and hurtful. It is a thinking man's (woman's!) film.

I loved it because all of the characters lives were entwined, which is very true to real life. The actions you take always affect someone else's life, even if it's a small way, whether you realize it or not. It's also beautiful in that several of the characters overcome their own issues. And yes, people do act that way about racism.

I love the movie. It is good because it is true. That is why everyone liked it so much. Unfortunatly, we do not live in a color blind world. Some people deal with racism badly, others just deal with it. It is just saying that no one is color blind, weather or not you are "racist" or not.

if you already saw it and made up your mind than why ask others if you hate it. This question is a waste of time.
