Yeah, I feel completely safe. It's awesome.
With all that I disagree with about the suburbs, that is the greatest gift that you can have besides health. Unfortunately, the erosion of community somewhat diminishes this when you are raising kids. You worry that your child might be the one to get taken away while he or she was just walking down the street.

Luckily, I don't have to stress about that.

I feel really safe...in my home.

Actually I feel just as safe today as I did 5 years ago...why?...Because I could care less what the current terror alert level is. That is just a way to scare people.
