I always try to take my time and get it right the first time...the old, "measure twice-cut once" rule! ~Works in a lot of situations that don't even deal with construction:) LOL

It depends on the day and my willingness to actually learn what i'm doing. If it's something that bores me to death.. usually I don't learn. If it's interesting I catch on right away within 1 or 2 tries.
