I don't think it has a doll pattern in it, but if you're a big Harry Potter fan you'll love this book. I think it DOES have a Hedwig owl doll, though. Charmed Knits: Projects for Fans of Harry Potter Alison Hansel The pattern suggested by the answerer above is crochet, not knitting.

Well, if you want to make a scarf, just use the two colors of the dorm (or whatever they're called like Griffindor and Slitherin) and knit 30 rows with one color and then cut the yarn and tie on the other color and knit 30 rows and repeat many, many times.
