It's a fashion statement. People go with what's hot not necessarily what is going to be the best for the season. If the are in a cold climate, that's why we have warm coats. Shearling coats, down coats, if you believe in them fur coats work wonders for outside. In cities like NY, most restaurants and apartments are so overheated, so who cares what you wear underneath. If you are a man asking, why would you care, aren't you happy. If you are a woman, I would guess you are older and just want to know why, because you can't wear these things and feel left out and sort of wonder where your youth went. Sorry, but we had our time, and we did crazy things too.

Because a lot of girls who wear those fashions have the mantra of "fashion over function". They think they look "hot" and "sexy", even though they are probaby freezing. They want people to notice them, even if they are being noticed for being completely insane. To them, beauty ranks over warmth. Coming from a town that has had negative digits to the lower teens for the last month, which is also home to a State University, I can tell you that those girls who wear those fashions are thought to be insane. It doesn't make you look hot or sexy, it makes you look crazy. Save it for summer.

youll have to ask them that cuz i know i dont. i think it may be because they think they look cute. even though people are just thinkin that theyre crazy since they have to be cold dressed like that. i wear fitted shirts but with 1 or 2 thick warm jackets layered over. and i wear jeans but with tights underneath for insulation. (which i highly recomend to anyone who gets cold easily. it really helps)

Tell me about it! Then they wonder why they come down with colds! (I used to do the same thing when I was their age so I shouldn't talk ...)
They think they look fashionable but there are plenty of ways to be fashionable *and* warm. But, maybe they can't afford a $900 Marc Jacobs coat ...

wide-spread. There may be to a lot yellow happening. i'd flow with wide-spread yet then positioned on some thing like yellow footwear like ballet residences. Or probable you should somewhat flow with leather-depending turn-flops to grant it a beachy seem. Yellow footwear will be somewhat funky.
