Imagine this would be a nice island with enough food and shelter. But you had to stay there for ten years and you could choose three things to bring. The three things could be persons, or a book or a tool or something special to you.
What would you take with you?

1. A ten-year supply of my favorite BBQ sauce (I know you said there would be food, but I need to be sure I have my sauce)
2. A pair of breedable dogs, preferably Labs

My fiance- someone to talk to so that I am not bored, plus possibly not bored for other reasons with her. So that hopefully we have 9 year old kids by the time we get off the island.
- a bunker shed or something that can be spacy enough to fit alot and also quite weather/damage prof. Maybe insilated so that it is warm in the winter and cool in the summer.
something like a swiss army axe. A multi-functional tool to use on the island for basically anything. Cutting, building, making. With flashlight and special batteries (ones you shake or are solar powered). Heck, even add fishing gear to it. Whatever can fit.

Other things I would bring if I had to switch things
-Solar charged, wirelessly satillight connected, damage prof, undamageable (physical and programming) laptop- something to keep updated in the world, entertain, and enlighten my knowledge.
- My queen/mistress: actually just a friend that I would like to have a closer relationship with.
- best guy friend
- view good manga series
-A bomb shelter built into the island so that I could live in comfort
- a super hot maid team or herem.

A pair of scissors or a very large, extremely sharp knife, a ton of matches and plenty of fishing gear. It's just a survival thing with me. You just never know when a Tsunami is coming to wash away my house, destroy my food and wash it away, and leave me without power. I could always make my clothes by putting large leaves together with the fishing line. :>) I didn't know if you were looking for serious or somewhat sarcastic answers...or even silly answers; but in any case, my plan remains the same.

But if it's not allowed to be that good, I've got a problem, I'm addicted to appliances that run off of electricity....... but probably Id take my hubby and two children even though they are all adults and we'd probably kill each other anyway.....

I'd take my iPod after I fully loaded it with 7500 songs, a laptop(they have wireless Internet from satellites, right?), and one of my friends.
