Grissom is great, and the original CSI is much better than the NY or Miami versions. But it's good to change up a show every once in a while. The new guy, Keppler, has had at least one memorable line...when he pulled the umbrella from the leg of the corpse in "Meat Market." It opened and splattered remains all over the coroner. All Keppler said was "Bad Luck", rather dead-pan, about opening an umbrella indoors.

I'm not a Keppler fan, but, I am starting to get into his issues and wonder what skeletons he's got in the closet. I wouldn't mind if he stayed on the show, because I can see some great shows that have head to heads with Grissom and Keppler. But...I miss Grissom terribly. He is the backbone of the show, and it's just not the same without him. I've been watching reruns on Spike to get my fix.

its not bad, Grissom should be back next week so technically we only had to do w/o for 2 and a half episodes 3 if you discount his cameo this week.

Had it been a full time replacement I think it would have been a 'Shark Jump', but a vacation plot device works.

If I recall the preview of next weeks show that Kepplar isn't on the level about something(my guess he's not really 'Keppler')since Grissom asks about all the evidence that he handled.

Yeah, they're ok, I really like Grissom, but I'm starting to get into that new detective's issues, I want to know what's going on. But it will be better when Grissom is back.

To be uncomplicated i presumed that CSI began to pass down the drain after Sara left. Sara change right into a substantial personality, were for most seasons and her departure basically began the ball rolling. They presented in some newbie lady who did not very last very lengthy in any respect and then Warrick died. by potential of this aspect the storylines were starting up to get somewhat strange and compared to the CSI all of us understand and love. finally, the departure of Grissom change into the finest straw for me. CSI isn't an identical anymore! there's a ton of present day human beings and that i think like we are basically counting down the days till Catherine and Nick leave too. i really pass over the former college CSI. Laurence Fishburne is a sturdy personality, in spite of the undeniable fact that the practice is not in any respect going to be an identical again. EDIT: this finished Sara being again element enables somewhat yet i'm doubting no matter if it is going to artwork or maybe stay everlasting. it is going to take a even as for Sara to even get again to the status she change into previously for me, yet we are able to work out what takes position.

Gil Grissom, is taking a four-week break from work. In real life, Petersen is taking time off to do a play.
