I'm writing a book, but i'm stuck. Does anyone know where to find some good, free writing tips.
And please only serious answers.

Here of course. You'll find some good books at your library as well if you ask them to buy them:

1) Story by Robert McKee
2) Screenplay by Syd Field
3) On Writing by Stephen King

In that order.

There are also lots of other sites with tutorials on creating a story such as http://www.storyentertainment.com

There are lots of books you can read, or classes you can attend, but .... as Danny Devito said in "Throw Mama From the Train" ...

"Writers write"

Spend your time writing. Don't spend your time looking for writing tips. You need to develop your own style.

With that said, look at these:

Strunk and White's book, The Elements of Style

Stephen King's book, On Writing

Mortimor Adler's book, How to Read a Book

hi there.
it's not exactly free but it's the best book on writing you'll ever buy. stephen king's ON WRITING. you might not be a stephen king fan but this book is full of insight. it's available in paperback and won't set you back much.
trust me, you'll be reading the book with a highlighter in one hand because everything the man says is a tip.
tips help, but writing helps even more.
make a schedule, write a thousand words a day...it's all in this book.
check it out, you won't be disappointed.

There are several free forums and websites you can join to have access to other authors in your genre to share your thoughts and ideas.
I'd also recommend the book On Writing. Here are two of those forums:

http://www.writing.com/page/writers_forum/writers_forum.html

I'd also recommend this site when you are ready to publish:

You are stuck because your mind needs to take a rest and rethink the whole scenario. They call that "writer's block". Take a walk or go see a movie. The next time you continue with your story, the words will flow.
