An introvert likes his own company best. An extrovert likes other people. That does not mean that an introvert is anti social. You might have a sore back from an extrovert slapping on it.

An introverted person is one who keeps to him- or herself; most introverts are considered shy or reserved, have trouble speaking out, and aren't very social. An extrovert is someone who is bolder, more social, and often more talkative.

Extroverted is like someone that is out going and introverted would be someone that is shy or withdrawn. An easy way to remember which is which is 'intro' minus the r is into, as in withdrawn 'into' themselves.
