The above statementy is meant to apply to things made of attoms & molecules.
Light is made of photons and is none of those things.
Light, traveling at the speed of light, only exists from our perspective, from light's own frame of reference it arrives at the same instant that it leaves, thus doesn't exist, hence never solidifies into anything..

The everything that you speak of only applies to matter--not radiaton such as light.
