I forgot to add, ATTACKS as the other tactic used to beat people into agreeing on Global Warming.

What is the deal here. What happened to debate in science?

Ever hear of Galileo?

They get the good feeling of fighting an enemy, but don't have to risk or think about getting hurt.
Meanwhile the imminent danger, the one we know we could do something about, they ignore because it's too unpleasant. Beheadings, stonings, bombs, genocides, etc...
It's better to worry about global warming, and maybe we won't see what's around the corner.

Somebody told me that its not global warming it was actually a small ice age i have no idea where he heard that from but when i asked him questions he had no good answer at all like this we have actually seen the effect around the world like glaziers getting extremely smaller and mountains not getting the snow or extreme cold weather like it usually does. so if it was a little ice age why would say Manhattan for example be totally submersed or other parts of the world. and as far as using fear i don't know if that would work some people would actually listen and try somethings but other people wouldn't care at all and it wouldn't really change anything.

Scientists do not use fear to convince people about global warming. They provide data and analysis to substantiate their claims.

Certainly there are others who appreciate the threat posed by global warming and who use examples of devastating scenarios to persuade others that the should also be concerned.

There are a few folks who do not understand the limits of the threats posed by global warming and provide misguided exaggerated examples. But, these folks are easily ignored if you choose to do so, rather than dwell on them.

because there cannot be a rational reason to believe in something that does not exist and further to believe it was created by man.

there has been no "warming" at all since 1998 according to the MIT climatology professor i got to watch on Larry King the other day.

It was then that i realized the "global warming" political movement has nothing to do with the environment or the climate, it's an ideology and an agenda.

The scientific community and others have been using reason for years to try to get people to listen. It hasn't worked. Now they decided to stop sugar-coating the issue and just tell the entire truth, which is frightening to say the least. The fact that you asked this question is proof that reason has not worked'
