Do celebrities simply ask more interesting questions than you and I ?

Or do they "juice" the system and get their "fans" to in effect spam or otherwise manipulate the Yahoo! Answers system of stars?

Or is it just that they are so popular, the lots of people are interested in whatever they say?

Or is it something else?

I always thought it was Yahoo paying actors to ask questions for the Yahoo Answers site. It's good marketing for Yahoo and it's good publicity for the actor.

I am very sure that the actor isn't doing it just because he wants to ask open ended questions to a bunch of kids trying to get people to do their homework for them.

Marketing that's what it is.

I think that celebrities get top placement on the front page of yahoo answers and more advertising. Thus causing them to get way more visitors to their questions. Some of them are fans, some of them are not. Their questions are not really any more interesting than anyone else's.

in my humbal opinion i think popularity plays a huge factor in their answers. Take Dr. Phil for example ...I cant stand him, i know he was disbarred, i know this (or at least believe this) from talkingwith family membersas well as my roommate whose a PTA. Others love him to death and believe everything he says therfor granting him great answers.
Sadly however as long as their are celebrities, especially nonrole models such as Paris Hilton us "normal" people will mostly believe everything they say and willl think its "cool" to give them a high answer status.
