Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton said Friday she would not have attacked Iraq if she were president in 2002 and would end the war if elected, as she tried to blunt rivals like John Edwards who are stoking anti-war passions in the Democratic Party.

She is not an answer to prayers... she is the stuff of nightmares. I truly fear for this country, and my husband(a US Marine) if she where to become president.

And yet she voted to support it in 2002.

Claims it was a mistake to do so, claims she was misled by the WMD case presented (yet Bush is not allowed the same "mistake", apparently).

If anyone does NOT have the right to claim they were misled by the administration, it's Hillary. The senator closest to events up leading up to the war, being married to the very recent ex-president, being part of that braintrust, and being very privy of the "truth" in Iraq. She didn't make a mistake voting then, she knew better than any that her affirmitive vote was required.

And now she's lying about her motives to advance her political position. No, She doesn't answer MY prayers.

All politicians will pander to thier base. Also all politicians will say that they would have done differently had they been in the position to do so. Of course they would! So would alot of us! If you had the chance to redo some mistake you made would you? Some of us would others wouldn't. In any case it doesn't make sense for her to have said this, simply because her voting record indicates that she has voted *for* several measures that have helped the war effort. This will be used to say that she is a flip flopper "just like John Kerry" (not my words). Let the rhetoric begin...

Hmmmm... not what she was saying with the intel that was gathered under her dishonorable hubby's term. She was absolutely sure then of the same things that were stated in the intel listed by Bush and crew. She is a flip-flopping, lying piece of crap. She lies almost as much as you do, erudite.

Hmm... I can honestly say I have never in any of my prayers asked for Hillary Clinton to do anything.
Now I have asked for wisdom, compassion and strength for our real leaders.
