it is as though any outward sign or gesture of pridefullness in my heritage is viewed as wrong.

i think it's because anyone who has tried to be "prideful" of their white heritage in the past has been wearing a white cone hat and carrying a flaming torch. so...blaming it on the KKK and other hateful white people living in this country. maybe when their negative voice stops speaking so loudly, white people with pure intensions may be able to feel like celebrating.

at the same time, a lot of people would argue that white people get unspoken privilage every single day...and there is no reason to "celebrate" since that is their life. white people don't need to congregate together to feel accepted, because they are the "majority" group and they will always feel accepted and proud wherever they go.

these are just two opinions, not sure how i feel about either one.

I,d rather be known as Anglo Saxon rather than caucasian. How did this come about any way?As far as pridefull of our heritage goes we are.We are now the minority race. We have most of us have had to separate due to the Asian.African Latino population. We are still here when we show up with some of us with pale skin tone.I like the mixture it makes for such togetherness in our music, drama, dance, singing, culture, food, etc we pretty much like it all .I,ll never be unpridefull of my heritage ever.

It all comes down to your approach in showing pride. As long as your not arrogant about it, those who don't like it can f off, they have the problem. All people should be able to show pride in their heritage.

According to some idiots like the ****** that I just told off, racism against whites doesn't even exist. He said that minority groups *cannot be racist* since racism involves an "inbalance of power". Well, there's plenty of white people living in blue collar neighborhoods, and they're regularly attacked and intimidated by their black neighbors who are at the same economic level as they are.

How is caucasian a heritage? Doesn't your geneology form your heritage and not a color?

I take pride in my heritage, but im not cocky about it.

I think you should always take pride in who you are, even if people dislike you for it.

I agree...it would be nice. But if you say you're proud to be caucasian, people say you're prejudice. go figure.
