We plan to spend less than $30k for a new car with luxury within reason. I have read reviews about some quality issues with Hondas - but they are always so reliable and they hold their value well.
If you had <$30K to spend on a nice 4-door, quality car - what would you buy?

Thanks in advance!

Id get a Nissan Altima. They have the new continuously variable transmission (CVT). Nissans are a quality car. I bought a brand new Spec V two years ago and am pleased with it. I would have gotten an altima, but i drive 80 miles a day to and from work so the gas milage would be better with the sentra.

KBB review: Seriously substantial, each Altima model demonstrates superior handling capabilities coupled with a satisfying ride. In 3.5 SE form with manual shift, it's especially enjoyable on twisting roads. A beautifully-behaved clutch adds to the pleasure, though the shifter is a bit vague. Although the taut suspension yields greater body motion on imperfect surfaces, ride comfort doesn't suffer. The four-cylinder sedan also blends ride comfort with adept handling. You hardly notice lesser bumps, and Altimas make quick work of deeper ones. Even the four-cylinder delivers exuberant energy with only moderate engine noise. As expected, Nissan's CVT performs with satisfying smoothness. The Altima competes mainly against the Toyota Camry and Honda Accord, which have starting sticker prices that are a little higher. In terms of resale value, we predict that the Altima will perform well over time. Depending upon trim level, the Altima is expected to retain 42 to 46 percent of its original value over a 60-month period, which is better than its Honda and Toyota competitors.

You can but like a gently used acura TL.They are gorgeous vehicles and theyll get u plenty of attention.Strong engines and acura grace and beauty.Thats what i would personally do but the real decision is up to you.Hope this helps
P.S. go online and check out cars that have a high resale value-means in 5 years or so you could still sell it for a good price

I'd buy a Subaru Forester XT. It is like a mini-SUV with great gas mileage, Japanese reliability, superior safety, and turbo to boost! Buy a used one and save a few thousand?

I would buy a 3 year old Camry and invest the rest of the money.
