should teenage guys wear flip flops to school?

ive seen a couple guys at my school wear them, and since my feet get hot from wearing shoes sometimes, i want to start wearing flip flops more often. Alot of guys waer "rainbow" flip flops without socks or anything and i have a pair....should i wear them??

Im a 15 year old guy, do you think its okay?? Girls ,do you think its sexy for a guy to wear flip flops? guys what do you think?

dude, pitch the rainbow flops, get your self some cool DC's, or Sunik flops. Where them everyday if you want too. persoally anyday over 36 degrees is good enough for me. that is my rule.

Here, in college, wearing flip-flops is totally cool. If you're feet aren't nasty, I say go for it. They have such a laid back vibe. Surfers and the like wear them all the time. I think a guy wearing flips shows some confidence and I find that sexier than the hottest *** ever, well maybe not ever. I wear mine all the time and so do my guy friends.

Now on the subject of rainbow flips, what are they? Stick with basic colors, Old Navy sells them for pretty cheap in the warmer months. Oh, and just because you have rainbow coloring on your feet doesn't mean you're gay, it just means your foot covering choice is colorful.

Those same people who think flips are stupid or ugly probably hate clogs. When you people grow up and realize that everybody has their own opinion.

Out here in California, tons of people your age wear flip flops. Personally, I think they look bad, particularly on guys. Men should never, ever wear flip flops. And sandals on guys are difficult to pull off (I don't mean to remove from your feet).

If you absolutely must wear something open-toed, maybe you could go with soccer slides? Of course, it would help if you play soccer.

And I agree with the gal who suggested the pedicure! I've only known a few men with decent-looking feet. Getting a pedicure is not a girly thing to do--it is considerate to those who have to look at your feet!

Some people say flip flops make you look gay. They are just crazy. But wearing flip flops is not right. You should dress formal a bit when you are in school. Flip flops are for home or at vacation.

It's super cute when boys wear flip flops with like a hot pair of jeans and a cute polo or button down. I don't know about "rainbow" flip flops though. Just remember to match the whole "ensemble" lol. Oh yah and GET A PEDICURE... or at least attempt to tame those toes =)

I don't know if it's because I live in Southern California but every guy that I see who are of all ages are always wearing sandals. If you do wear them get the Rainbow brand because they are made of great quality leather and will last forever!

Especially the Rainbow flip flops ..

Try those other "urban shoes" that are made from leather they are slip ons and are very comfortable. I think the are called sun catchers or something??

They have two buckles on the side and they slip on the feet .

Haha... For the people that don't know what "Rainbow" sandals are, Rainbow is the brand. They're not rainbow colored, but rather fairly sleek and fairly expensive. I have a pair myself and a ton of my friends also have them.

I like to wear them when I sport my khaki shorts or jeans. They look good if you're trying to hit a relax look, but they're terrible for days when you have science labs to do.

I can't believe your school allows anything that ISN'T closed toe to be worn as footwear.
Instead of asking this in Yahoo! Answers, talk to your neighbors and see what they feel about it. Your environment's people has more to do since everyone here has been brought up by different school districts, parents, and so forth.

I disapprove of even women wearing flip flops, for example.
