click [ctrl shift c] and a box will show up at the top of the screen. then type in "motherlode" and you get 500,000 simoleons instantly. Do this while you are inside playing with the family you want to be rich.

expand
Expands/contracts the cheat menu.
exit
Closes the cheat menu.
aging VAL
Sims no longer age (replace VAL with off or on).
vsync VAL

type Ctrl + C together then a toolbar will come up at the top. then type ... then enter, then type motherlode as many times as you want.

type motherlode and press enter. press the up button after, then press enter again. the motherlode cheat will continue until you stop pressing up then enter
