I know most women get more emotionally attached to men, but I want to know if it's the same for guys. Especially if there is no sex involved.

Yes, men have the same emotional attachments. They feel really bad because it makes them weak somehow in their thinking, so they attach themselves that much harder to make those feelings shut up. I hope that made sense to someone.

Of course men can get emotionally involved. Any good relationship requires both people to input their feelings to make things work more smoothly. The "macho man" stereotype commonly makes men feel weak and femine if they show any type of emotion towards other people. However, it is wrong to deny men their ability to connect emotionally with other people, particularly their spouses/girlfriends.

Dont worry. It's ok to cry when you're sad and smile when your happy. Your human afterall.

of course! and it hurts more for their wife or the woman they've been in a long term relationship with. now being a guy i can't say whether they understand this or not, but you think they would since they get upset Ive similar things.

Absolutely they do. And somehow it hurts more?! because that is what we are always wanting from them and then they give 'it' to someone else

I think so we have feelings too. But if your marriage is strong those feeling can't & shouldn't be compermised.
