I have a butterfly tattoo on my leg, I wanted to get another one on my back or on my stomach.

the lower back hurts because the bone back there. and another thing too is before he started to color, it tickled because you know the back is sensitive to touch when licked or touched with a finger tip, but when he colored it, it felt like a damn bad *** indian burn.. i heard the ankle hurts.

I got a tattoo on my back at the base of my neck. I have heard this is the most painful outside of the ankles. My opinion on tattoos is that there are many variables. One, the artist, do they have a soft or hard touch and second, your personal pain tolerance.

I heard on your back at the very bottom is very painful i have one on my hand of a very small butterfly and it hurt

Any place that is really bony will hurt. I would go with the back, less sensitive.
