I would have to believe that the true human being is selfish. We have developed the need to survive and that is what put us in the top of the food chain. Our instinct to survive is the key which has put us where we are today and that key is what makes us selfish. Although we do selfless acts at times for those we hold dear to us we are only human and we, even though we do not know of it, put us before anyone else in reality. So is being human a bad thing, No!
