I just dug my leather ballet shoes (not pointes) out of the closet after a 6-month ballet hiatus and want to use them again, but they smell terrible and are kind of dingy. What can I do to get rid of the odor?

put some tea leaves in a like old sock and put it in the ballet slipper

tea leaves absorb the smell

or put like a air freshner in it

Their are some odor balls that go in your shoes that might work! You can get them in the shoe department at any department store.
