Anyone know what they're called or a code for them?

Yes, CAE, the technique is named anchors. There is a clear and easy-to-read tutorial at w3cschools (link below).

Basically you add the anchor references into the destination page - for example etc etc .

Then in the URL you add #jumptohere at the end. For example .

I have used this technique on my web site actapricot.org. If you look at the source you will also see that you don't have to place anything between the named anchor open and close tags. For example
is also legal.

Anchors? I think . they let you go up to the top of page or to the bottom with a click for example ... yes I think it is anchors.
