This transfer will pay me more and I'll have a more "less stressed" job, however..if my ex fights me for custody of my daughter because I'm leaving the state..does she have a fighting chance? Do I give up my rights if I move?

Tough call. Get a sheet of paper and over the next few days write the advantages of moving on the left side and the disadvantages of moving on the right side of the paper. Give yourself plenty of time to think it through thoroughly, weigh the options and go from there. In the end, it's gonna be and gotta be your call. Good luck.

Congrats on the job thing!!!

Contact a lawyer about the custody thing.

Thoughts and decisions:

Do you want to try to take your daughter with you? OR - are you just worried about visitation?

Are you with someone else and does that someone else get along with your daughter - would she or would she not want the daughter full time? If not - that is a lot of trauma to put them both through.

It would be best to hire a lawyer. She might have a "fighting" chance..
