A perfect example is last night. My daughter did not want to go with her brothers to the doctor's so instead of taking her to stay with me she left her home alone. Although she would rather be with me me ex is too bitter to see the advantage of her being with me until she gets home. I have continually tried to help make her life easier and she continues to work against me. My attorney has filed a motion to get her to cooperate for the benefit of the kids after trying every other alternative measure. How can I convince her that I am only interested in the kids best interests?

You can't, & she doesn't care about the child's best interest right now if she is as vindivcative as you say. Only time and her finding "Mr. wonderful," will help ease your difficulties with her. Good luck!

I am sure there isn't anything else you could do to change her bitterness.Hopefully the judge in your case will! But if not I'm sure later on when her own children are resenting her for the bad choices she made during this transition she will regret it and wish she wouldn't have been so difficult. Good Luck!

Divorces are hard, you build resentment and plain hatefulness toward the ex if there was an ugly separation. I believe she is "ACTING OUT" as to say she is trying to hurt you as bad as she thinks you hurt her. She forgot about priority # 1 (the kids). Take her to court and request joint custody. If she is hateful toward you, I would hate to think how she acts with your children.

i think she's being stubborn and wants that check everymonth, how old is your daughter, is she old enough to be left alone, keep track of all the crap she does wrong, in a journal, dates and time and bring it to your next court date. i love hearing stories when the daddy actually wants his kid.

for one why did she think it was ok to leave her alone? Is that not neglect ? Yes proceed with your lawyer & seek at least partial custody
