I can be really gullible sometimes, very paranoid and untrusting of others, and often worry about the worst thing that could possibly happen. When people at work joke around and I don't know they're joking, they say I take things too seriously. Tonight they played a prank on me and I was freaking out because I thought I was going to get fired. Even though I found out it was a joke, I still have a really nervous feeling and its several hours later. My boyfriend says sometimes you just need to laugh things off. I'm not really uptight, but I get stressed out easily, and the people I work with know that, but they mess around with me anyway. How can I be more relaxed and carefree about what people do or say?

Only let those you love make or break you, shut everyone else out.

Laugh more. Make your own jokes. Play pranks. If it's not funny to you, make it funny. Share something funny at break with your co-workers. Buy a funny book and read it.

People mess with you BECAUSE you're so easy to freak out. That's funny to them. They know it's a game and you don't. Haven't you ever played a joke on someone else when they didn't know what you were doing? The PANIC is so funny...

If you're worried about getting in trouble, don't be. Do little things, like hiding all of the pens in the whole office or changing the desktop on everyone's computer to the same picture.

It all depends on your job to what you can do.

I don't take things serioulsy enough and people are always telling me I laugh at everything.

What Jesus is asserting is to make useful that those issues do no longer come by using us! we could bypass on and on itemizing issues that reason people to stumble and bypass off the direction, yet don't be an element of the priority. The "babies" he mentions are the recent believers or those with fragile faith. something we would experience is wonderful for us might reason slightly one to fall into issues. Will I drink alcohol in front of a individual combating alcoholism? No. this is one occasion. Paul noted eating meat from the pagan temple butchers. some people have been very disenchanted by potential of people who bought meat from the sacrifices, by using fact it replaced into in touch in pagan worship. Paul pronounced it replaced into extra advantageous to no longer eat that meat if it harm yet somebody else, regardless of if all nutrition replaced into suitable.

Yah, and this little prank doesn't sound like anything I would enjoy either. We are the way we are. We can recognize our short-comings, but how do you discern the truth from a joke or something that is really serious.

Just the opposite for me. They say I'm never serious. I can be, but why ? Whats the point. I would rather crack jokes, or make sarcastic remarks.

you will have to think of the joke twice. and think positive to those people who joke then . ask your consiousness do they want to hurt you . i know your consiousness says no . then you think why shouldn't you laugh for such silly things .then you tend to laugh at it . and after 10 to20 days you willl find the change in yourself that you take things easy
