You know i am a really friendly and accepting person, but people just dont seem to care about what they say, you know. Like this one cool dude once told me he is gona jam with me and we are gona go to the Casino thin January, but he just simply didn't contact me. I mean come on, I did not pledge you to go with me, you said it yourself. Why pretend to be a friend when you know you are going to treat me like an acquaintance. I mean i'm sorry but it really peases me off. Do you people also get this kind of things, or does it only happen with me.

For one people forget things, and people are busy. When people say things like that it is usually with good intentions and definately wanting too. Yet, when the time rolls around maybe something has comeup..maybe a money situation you don't know about, maybe he just decided he doesn't really want to go to the casino..any way there a lot of reasons. The part that we never do is have the manners to call and say whats up. We either say nothing or hope you don't notice. Kinda sad....

people can be cruel. You are young so your going to experience a lot of mean people's actions. But you will also find loving caring people out there. Just don't be inconsiderate like that guy was and always be honest without hurting peoples feelings and you will have lots of friends who want to be with you. he may have found a better offer or someone whom he wanted to be with which is cool as long as he called you and told you he wasn't going with you. so don't let that experience make you bitter, just learn from it. Like you don't want to ever do that to some one because it hurts. your OK just find new friends.

Yeah, there are a lot of shallow people out there. But not everyone is like that. Just learn your lesson the first time with that kind of person. And keep on being a man/woman of your word.

i feel you i feel you. is it so hard to contact the person and tell them that ur not going i mean cmon its comon curtsy.. i guesss people do it beucase theyy are just so inconsiderate! and rude.. and sad to say not a TRUE FRIEND. becuase just know that ur TRUE FRINEDS are ALWAYS there for you NO MATTER WHAT!. so honestly.. i can't tell you why all i noe is that its pretty much uncalled for and it makes me a little upset also but just don't let it ruin ur whole nighTT have fun.. and make new friends. =]] thats what i have learned.i hope this helps

Try this. Instead of making an open ended commitment with someone, the next time set a definite date, & time & see what happens then. It may work out different.

People can be flakes. Just let go a little bit though. If you internalize everything even though it is a big deal, you will lose it. You will meet someone just like you who is loyal and deserving, just wait.

OMG, YES I DO....BUT U WOULD NEVER DO THAT 2 ME, WOULD U!!??!!?? acctually, it JUST happened with me today @ my friend's party when my other friend told me that she & i would go to a FULL SPA DAY TOGETHER!!!!!!! it had been like a month she had said that i thought she had forgoten!! but today she said on her party day, we would go and i would stay after and we would go to that sap day, then i would sleep over, then WE'D SEE A MOVIE TOGETHER!!
well....we should do that sometime....

You would have to understand one thing in life, that everybody can't keep thier WORD,because there might be a reason they couldn't keep thiier word! There is only ONE that can keep thier WORD and that is GOD!

i am sure that happens to everyone, peoples plans change and sometimes people forget, i am sure he just forgot or just could not go due to a financial or scheduling thing, its his loss, who cares get over it.
