and to get stars to run around naked. They are good at making videos that are in poor taste. They kill 90% of the animals they take in. HSUS is worth 65 million dollars but as no shelters nor do they give money to help the ones all ready open. Both groups back terrorise. The ASPCA as done far more than both groups most cruelty laws as been backed and passed do to their help. My question is why give many to PETA or the HSUS instead of the ASPCA which is a much better group to help?

Alot of people thik that PETA is good because they are told it is good. I use to be all for PETA till I found out alot of the things they do that are horrible.

i totally agree. we need to make it more aware of what peta and hsus are doing. start protest, petions, make people see what they are doing. they are destroying America! let everyone u know spread the word. people are just unaware what these organizations are doing and dont get all the facts on the 2 organizations. its ignorance. that's the problem. i have and will support the ASPCA and do what i can to make it aware of what peta and hsus are doing. the hsus is the humane society of the U.S.- they own over a 3rd of private land-that's alot. they are taking the land from farmers. they are trying to get all the farmers out of California right now. if we dont have the farmers there, where are we gonna grow are crops? certain crops need the environment that Calif. provides. and thats only a small part of what they have done. and as for peta, they are idiots and are doing the same things that HSUS is doing, they are just more open bout it

That's exactly why I make sure every cent of my donation money goes to my local ASPCA and not PETA or HSUS. When you send them a check, they are more than likely going to use it for advertising campaigns or public protesting, not to save the life of a helpless animal.

I think it's because PETA wastes so much money advertising and pulling stunts. Like the panflets they gave to kids who's Moms had fur on telling them their Mommy killed the poor animal she's wearing. And thats why they can get people to give them money. While the SPCA uses it's money to better the lives of the animals. I use to work at the SPCA here in Canada and know that we are there to save the animals! You can only work in a shelter if you love animals with all your heart.

The ASPCA is a worthy group but help animals only after a complaint is lodged for very understaffed probably due to not paid all that much but PETA Goes out,finds the problems and stops the animals from being abused further. Animal experiments no longer necessary but done just to get funding -much progress has been made to stop unecesary suffering because of PETA, the ads of people -esp staars being nude(naked) is to discourage people from wearing fur-go see a fur farm and watch a animal being electrocuted,strangled etc for cannot kill humnely and risk damaging the fur and many many people have stopped wearing the skin of killed animals because Peta made th public awaare of the cruelty involved. Also when Dolphins were being killed caught in the tuna nets it was PETA that first made the public aware and had undrcover Videos made that they took to Congress and had laws passed to protect the Dolphins from being bludgeoned-beaten to death. The Videos that are made are real-made by people(peta) posing as workers etc and then , at great risk to their safety,make undecover videos to expose the cruelty,the suffering imposed on animals. It is these Videos that briing about change by informing the public and the GOV.Agencies to pass Anmimal Protection laws. The Humane Society goes all over the world,also risking their safety to expose barbaric treatment of animals and by the exposure get public outcry and laws are again passed. The latest is the Humane Society exposed the killing and skinning of cats and dogs in China and the using those skins in the stuffed toy trade-bewaare of stuffed animals made in China esp if they feel so soft,so real-probably is real -real cat and dog fur. The ASPCA is important for the go out,once a Complaint is made,and investigate and when abuse occurs rescue the animal,. arrest the horrible people doing it and bring to trial-the laws that they enforce though are laws because of the efforts of PETA and The Humane Society. Petys and the Humae Society also uncover and stop animals that are rarae being caught in the wild and then smuggled into the country from foreign countries esp those with tropical rainforests and many of these smuggled animals die.Many animals owe their lives to Peta and the Humane Society. All of these organizations are important and they all have the same goal-to stop animal abuse and mistreatment of animals but each does ii in a different but equally important way. the ASPCA is unable to help dolphins from being slaughterd, elephants being killed for their tusks, can't stop cats and dogs being skinned in China and so on. And those who run shelters give homes to animals in desparate need of care. Were it not for the Humane Society or Peta or Greenpeace and all the other animal rights organizations there would be NO LAWS for ASPCA to enforce-would be unable to arrest anyone for animal abuse. I am a member of Peta,the Humane Society,contribute money to ASPCA whenever I am able, have rescued 2 bunnies and 1 dog and gave a little kitty a home. Am also a member and admirerer of Greenpeace for it s they who challenge Japanese and Norwegian whaling ships from harpooning whales-they get between the whale and the ships so the harpoon cannot be launched. You have more than likely read some misinformation but am sure when the righ information is given can see the truth of it.

PETA is a bunch of freaks who want an excuse to commit terrorism. Some might believe animals are more important than people, but most just say that to piss everyone off and as an excuse to attack the world.

As far as the HSUS....they are a good organization. They have passed a lot of anti animal cruelty laws. Do some research on the topic.

And if these PETA people are so darn concerned about the animals, WHY are they always out there in the garden whacking down all the vegetables?
Wouldn't it be the right thing to do to leave the vegetables in the garden for the animals to eat? GEEZ, they are so insensitive. The animals would love to eat the vegetables, but PETA whacks them down and deprives the animals of their vegetables. If they would just leave them in the garden for the animals to eat, the animals would get much bigger, plumper, and yummier !

I am in full agreement. Those who volunteer for PETA are clueless. Those who work for PETA are generally oblivious. Those in the upper ranks of PETA should be prosecuted and fined more heavily than those found guilty of fighting their dogs.
