I don't believe there are any places online where you could directly ask J.K. Rowling a question. If there were, it would be bombarded with thousands of questions. However, you can learn a lot from the fan sites. Accio Quote is an excellent source of information about what JKR has actually said already in all of her interviews. I would go there.

The Harry Potter Lexicon is a great site with all kinds of information about the Harry Potter series.

mugglenet.com and the-leaky-cauldron.org are very good fan sites and they have answered almost every question imaginable about the Harry Potter series...go there, they might have already answered whatever you wanted to ask :)

FAQ's are the ones everybody asks, like, "where do you get your ideas?" and such. Read those first before asking yours.....chances are it's already been asked and answered.

Try www.harrypotter.com or www.jkrowling.com

Good luck!
