It is not the best type of food for them but they will eat it if you feed it to them. I wouldn't recommend it though. its not very healthy for the fish.

LOL.......my husband is standing behind me and thought this question asked if you could breast feed fish.
We feed the fish at the lake bread all the time. I'm not sure if the ones in a tank at home would eat bread or not.

I would think unsalted crackers would be better for them. But not on a regular basis because there is more nutrition for fish in their regular food.
