Abstinence is your answer!
Nothing is 100% effective, and it says so right there on the box!
Sex was intended for marriage for that exact same reason and I have to say I admire you for being so smart about it! Sex was made for making babies, the fun part is just a bonus for the married couples...
So unless you are ready to conceive a baby, carry it for 9 months and then take care of that baby for the rest of his/her's life, you shouldn't consider sex...
Also believe it or not... your virginity is something really valuable and I'm sure when you meet the right one who tells you he wants to spend the rest of his life with you because he loves you and cannot live without you! Wouldn't you want to give this guy the best gift you can give him on your wedding night?!?!
Best of luck, I'll pray you make all the right educated decisions in your life, because I have to say you are not a person to leave all to chance. I hope you remain strong and true to yourself! God Bless You!
Oh and I must add, I know nowadays most girls around you might be sexually active, but a smart person like you doesn't feel left out and doesn't think she has to go with the crowd. You are unique and that is what defines greatness!

All condoms can break. Its not normal but it can if there isnt enough lubrication, too much movement in the condom, if the condom isnt placed on the penis properly. You can prevent it from happening, by putting the condom onto a clean dry penis, checking it every once in a while during sexual activity, and make sure you are lubricated throughly. The safest sex is no sex. But if you are going to do it, talk to your parents or your doctor. Be straight up with them, tell them that you are considering being sexually active and ask them their views. Get all the information you can. Be safe, condom failure doesnt always mean pregnancy, it could mean STD's too.

Yes. My husband and I had been using them for years with no problems. Then... oops! We have no idea what happened. It didn't break and he always checks the packages before he uses them. It just happens sometimes. If you really want to make sure you don't get pregnant, then don't have sex. You could get on the birth control pill if you are looking for a more reliable form of birth control. But please, use a condom too for safe sex!!

it happened to by best friend in high school...1973...wow!
first off...there is actually a right and wrong way to apply a condom...
on his erect penis, unroll the condom so that there is little airspace left at the tip (glans).
make sure that the condom is unrolled all of the way to the base of the penis.
do not use any other lubricant (other than natural vaginal secretions...but if you are not lubricated enough and need some help...use a WATER SOLUBLE lubricant only...do not use Vaseline or petroleum jelly as that can destroy the latex and leave it 'holy'...make sure that you check the expiration date on the box of condoms...
make sure that he did not pull the condom out form his wallet or out of the glove box in his car, because heat can also degrade the latex and leave you with a disaster
after he ejaculates...his penis will start to shrink slightly and over time go back to his normal flaccid state...before he removes his penis from your vagina...make sure that he holds onto the condom at the base so that it does not slip off...even one misplaced drop that gets into the wrong spot could also be disaster...after he removes his condom, make sure that his penis does not come in contact anywhere near you vagina unless he put his boxers back on because his penis will still leak semen for up to a few hours later...
good luck

If you don't want to get pregnant, then do not have sex. Do you realize the condom makers are actually allowed a certain percentage of defective condoms in each batch? That thought alone should give you pause to think.

It obviously CAN happen because nothing is perfect in life. Just remeber to follow all warnings and check the condoms thoroughly. Also never double up whe using condoms bacause the latex rubs together and will discintegrate.

Not me personally , but I can tell you that condoms are not even close to being "perfect" when stopping pregnancy..... YOU CAN GET PREGNANT !!! Be safe :) Ask your mom, dad, or doctor about getting on the pill along with using condoms, this way you will have extra protection !

it broke and we didnt know it, i was 18, but i went to planned parenthood the next day and got the morning after pill.. i didnt wanna have his baby.... sounds messed up, but i didnt want that for myself becuz he couldnt take care of himself plus he didnt want it.. so i did what i needed to do. dont leave condoms in cars thats what happend to me... do it with the right guy cuz if not you may regret it. Dont let him force you to do something you dont want to... Best Answer is to stay abstinent until you get married or find the right guy that wants to be with you and only you,, then you will know its right.!im married now and im 33 wks pregnant.. my trojan broke again and i got pregnant, but stuff happends....Just remember this : " if you can do adult things you can handle adult situations.. so really think about that when you do decide on loosing it to a guy ok... take care!!

The Pill doesn't work either; best prevention is abstinence or waiting till you are ready.
