IF I hated fish, I would have a nibble at it and, I'd eat really slow till you were done... and then I'd say, "I've had enough. Thank you."

I like fish....can't imagine hating it. If you liked something else I hated...I'd eat with you but order something else on the menu!

I may take a bite, just to be polite, but if I didn't like it, I would distract you from the fact that I didn't eat it with titillating conversation.
But, I like fish, so there wouldn't be a problem. :)
